At 6 o’clock Sunday August 9th, I was fortunate to perform a wedding ceremony at Brock House with the impressive coastal mountains as a backdrop.
The groom and his family and friends were all from Ontario and the wife’s guests, as was she, were from New Zealand. To make it fair for all attendees, they chose to get married in Vancouver which was really the half way point for all parties. I had not met the couple prior to today but thanks to the internet, found them to be charming, unassuming and sweet! The Father of the Bride was the most nervous of all. It was a small wedding and such an honor to be a part of their first moments as husband and wife. Congratulations to Nicola and Ryan!
