It is always difficult to cope with loss never mind the sudden and unexpected death of a friend or family member. On a cloudy autumn afternoon we laid to rest a father, husband, brother, uncle and friend in an urn internment at Valley View Cemetery. Forty to fifty people gathered to show their respect and love. Most everyone had an opportunity to add a pink carnation to the site and say a gentle good-bye. Bagpipes were played at the end of the ceremony before the Celebration of Life ceremony at Guildford Golf Club.
