On July 21, 2023, Michelle and Jeff exchanged their vows at the Langely Golf Club in a beautiful outdoor “chapel”.

Jeff is from Australia and his family and many friends arrived for this festive occasion.  The bride was stunning in a full length gown with a small train and her bouquet was perfect with pale off-white roses.  Many, many good wishes to this couple as they travel the road of married life together.

“Thank you for bringing so much love to our ceremony!”

“In August of 2022, I flew to Portugal and officiated at the wedding ceremony of my cousin’s youngest daughter at the Quinta de Sant’ de Ana Do winery in Gradil.  The couple had had a civil ceremony in London, England the previous year and finally they had their full wedding and reception in this amazing location.  Their ceremony was unique as they incorporated  so much of their personal story including their vows.  The couple added a “Memory Box” ritual in the ceremony.  The attendants and family were invited to contribute a letter or an item in a box which the couple intends to open in 2027, on their 5th anniversary.

The beauty of the surroundings and guests from around the world made this a wedding ceremony one that I will never forget!  Blessings to Gerry and Alex for a happy married life and this honor.”

Kim was the celebrant for our wedding last summer, and she gave us such a beautiful ceremony.

From the moment we first spoke, she made us feel at ease. We didn’t have much idea about what we wanted or even what constituted a ceremony, so she talked us through all the options and made suggestions based on her years of experience. She took the time to get to know us individually and to understand what brings us together as a couple – because of that, her ceremony felt very personal and really touched on the things that we value. When we came to her with a few unique ideas, Kim incorporated them beautifully and made the whole thing run seamlessly. I can’t recommend her enough. Thank you Kim for giving us beautiful memories that will last a lifetime!

Lots of love, G & A

On Saturday, July 30th Shalni & Taylor were married at the stunning grounds of the University Golf & Country Club.

The couple were shared their vows by the gazebo as their dog, Dougie (short for Douglas Fur) acted as ring bearer. So much love expressed by the 130+ guests! The theme for their wedding was West Coast as you can see by this gorgeous vegan wedding cake. Lovely buffet dinner and genuinely sweet speeches from their friends and family. The bride wore a stunning lace gown and seemed almost unaffected by the heat. Monday they left on their honeymoon.

Congratulations to both as they begin life as husband and wife!

Thank you for being part of our wedding day.  We loved the personalized ceremony that you wrote and are grateful for everything you’ve done to make our wedding day a success.

Shalni & Taylor

On Saturday May 28 2022, Cam and Celina said their “I do’s” at the Scottish Cultural Centre in Vancouver.

The wedding was delayed by 45 minutes because someone forgot the license!

The Groom provided the catering and the reception was of a Western theme and many of the guests were in boots and Western gear.  What fun!  The Bridesmaids wore ivory/cream dresses which complimented the Groomsmen in jeans, blue denim shirts, cowboy boots and black hats!  The Bride wore an outstanding full length, cobalt blue, sequined gown.  While the wedding was a casual affair there was so much love in the air and everyone was keen to celebrate this happy marriage.  Best of luck to the happy couple.

Lindsay & Steve were finally joined in marriage on August 29 2021.

We met in September 2019 for their planned September 2020 wedding which had to be postponed.  The ceremony was held at the UBC Boathouse in Richmond on a beautiful and hot summer day under a very simple but dramatic arch next to the Fraser River.  The bride was gorgeous in a sleeveless, just below the knee, dress wedding dress and her handsome groom looked dashing in a marine blue suit.  While they had planned for a much larger guest list they still had 6 attendants, a Flower Girl and Ring Bearer.  This long delayed wedding was a joy as they took their vows as husband and wife.  Congratulations to a wonderful couple and blessings for many years of happiness!

Neil & Joni were married at breakfast!

The couple were joined in marriage on Saturday October 12 at 10:00 a:m at Tsawwassen Springs Golf Club.  The bride came into the circle of about 25 friends and family with her daughter.  The Groom was supported by his son as his Best Man.  Afterwards, we all enjoyed brunch with mimosas.  The couple will honeymoon in Puerta Vallarta at the end of the month.

Congratulations to Neil & Joni for a long and happy married life!

Rhonda and Todd tied the knot!

On September 27th at 2:00 o’clock in the afternoon. The threat of rain abated until just after the ceremony!  They were surrounded by family and friends at The Secret Garden in Tsawwassen,  The Bride wore a lovely to the knee ivory, beaded, sleeveless dress and had a garland of fresh flowers in her hair.  Having been together since 1997, today was the day they formalized their commitment in a beautiful ceremony.  I was privileged to read a poem written by the Bride called “Love is Like an Automobile”!  Wishing Todd and Rhonda continued happiness as they continue along the road of life together.

Ghetto wedding with Kim and Jae

The “ghetto” wedding was so called as the couple said they did not want their wedding to be a huge expense for themselves or any of their guests.  They simply wanted to celebrate their love.  The ceremony for Kim and Jae was held at The Hall in East Vancouver and was a pot luck affair with lots to eat!
The couple had 250 guests and everyone was encouraged to wear fluorescent clothing.  The music for the Processional was four or five bars of the traditional “Here Comes The Bride” which after a few bars was followed by Master Blaster “Powerful”!  The Attendants (8) danced into the center just ahead of the couple.

Part of their ceremony included a Unity Candle Lighting as well as expressing their own vows and exchanging rings.  When I asked the guests, “Who blesses this marriage?” they all responded in a thunderous chorus, of “We do”!  You could feel the tremendous energy of love and support in the room.  What an amazing experience and what an honor to officiate.  Best wishes to these lovely women!

“When Jae and I decided we wanted to get married, there was only one person that came to my mind that would be perfect to conduct the ceremony.  Having known Kim for a long time, I knew that I wanted her passion and her love for all that she does. When we met with Kim and told her what our ideas were, a Big Gay Neon themed Potluck, she smiled and immediately got excited with us!

From that day on she became closely involved with our process and even told us about the Neon Pink top she had in mind to wear.  We felt like a family throughout.

We were given so many great options, most that hadn’t even crossed our minds, on how to best celebrate our love and make it significant and marking on our wedding day.  The ceremony was beautiful and fun and Kim the way you spoke at the wedding had everyone loving every moment.

Thank you so much for being a part of our special day. It meant the world to us

Kim and Jae
