On Wednesday April 2, I had the honor of creating a lovely house blessing for Jessica. We also included her small outdoor patio and and Nature’s critters. Jess had been in the same place for 10 years and was now starting fresh, literally from scratch, all new furniture to boot! We began with a sage and lemongrass smudge along with salt to cleanse any lingering energy from the previous occupants. In each room we placed slices of fresh lemon which, from the tradition of the Chinese Feng Shui stimulate oneness of family, happiness and loyalty. We placed slices of orange for joy, purification, healing and abundance. Jessica had chosen a beautifully colored candle which was a pink earth tone, representing grounded energy, peace and welcome.
