On May 21, 2017 (the warmest day of the year so far), Dwight and Gabrielle said “I do”. The bride was stunning in a white gown which had a cutaway back and short train. The groom was so handsome in his deep blue tuxedo jacket. The were married at Westwood Plateau Golf & Country Club in front of about 70 friends and family. Good luck to this lovely couple as they walk together as husband and wife!
Amanda was stunning in an off-white Cinderella gown when she said her “I do’s” to her Groom, Jamie. Just moments before the rain began, they shared personal vows. Their ceremony was whimsical and light-hearted which fit the couple’s personalities perfectly. It was a pleasure to write this unique ceremony and pronounce them husband and wife! Best of everything to the happy couple!
UBC Boathouse hosts another wedding ceremony. It was cookin’ hot but the lovely breeze off the river made it very pleasant. Andrea and Greyson stood on the dock at the Boathouse and shared beautiful vows before exchanging rings. There were 125 guests who later celebrated at the reception on the river. Best wishes for a long and loving married life!
The bride was stunning in an ivory coloured gown, beaded bodice and soft, feathery ruffles and a train. The groom was overcome when he saw his bride come toward him! All of the parents gave their blessing for the union. Outside on a hot, sunny day but with plenty of shade trees – a perfect day to be wed!
The “ghetto” wedding was so called as the couple said they did not want their wedding to be a huge expense for themselves or any of their guests. They simply wanted to celebrate their love. The ceremony for Kim and Jae was held at The Hall in East Vancouver and was a pot luck affair with lots to eat! The couple had 250 guests and everyone was encouraged to wear fluorescent clothing. The music for the Processional was four or five bars of the traditional “Here Comes The Bride” which after a few bars was followed by Master Blaster “Powerful”! The Attendants (8) danced into the center just ahead of the couple.
