May 5, 2018 On a beautiful and sunny day, in their back garden Voja & Ivana, renewed their vows with Robert and Doris, their, 3 1/2 year old twins. Included in their ceremony was a knot tying (a little challenging for the twins!) and an exchange of rings. The young couple left Croatia at the beginning of the war to start their new life in Canada. Their many friends have seen them overcome challenges with resolve, good humor and determination always expressing a loving heart to each other. Mum and daughter wore beautiful silver dresses and Dad and son wore silver bow ties!
On May 21, 2017 (the warmest day of the year so far), Dwight and Gabrielle said “I do”. The bride was stunning in a white gown which had a cutaway back and short train. The groom was so handsome in his deep blue tuxedo jacket. The were married at Westwood Plateau Golf & Country Club in front of about 70 friends and family. Good luck to this lovely couple as they walk together as husband and wife!
A ceremony to celebrate someone’s life is a significant step in the grieving process. Whether you are planning a funeral, memorial or a celebration of life, the contents of your tribute will be more healing if the language is authentic and heartfelt. Timing is important so think about how long it will take to gather family and friends together and create a unique tribute for your loved one. Involve children if it’s appropriate as often in times of sorrow the sight and sounds of a child can ground us in ways no photographs can. Keep breathing and stay in the moment.
Amanda was stunning in an off-white Cinderella gown when she said her “I do’s” to her Groom, Jamie. Just moments before the rain began, they shared personal vows. Their ceremony was whimsical and light-hearted which fit the couple’s personalities perfectly. It was a pleasure to write this unique ceremony and pronounce them husband and wife! Best of everything to the happy couple!
The couple and their attendants arrived at the Hall in a stretch limo in time for a 4:00 wedding. The interior decorations were in white and silver, stunning. Their two Flower Girls dutifully spread petals as the Bride was escorted in by her father. Brandon and Caitlin met in 2013 and the handsome couple exchanged rings on a beautiful sunny day. Wishing you all the happiness your hearts can hold!
